Yes, in most cases. We survey your installation to find a compatible battery. Sometimes the inverter needs replacing with a hybrid inverter, which is a straightforward upgrade.
Most lithium iron phosphate batteries are warranted for 6,000 cycles or 10 years, with 70–80% capacity guaranteed at the end. In practice they last 12–15 years in homes.
Some hybrid inverters, including Sunsynk and Fox ESS, offer backup to selected circuits. It must be set up during installation, and we can advise if it suits you.
You need an MCS certified installation and a smart meter. All our installs are MCS certified, and we guide you through SEG registration at handover.
Usually 2–3 days on site. From survey to switch-on is generally 4–8 weeks, including DNO notification with Electricity North West, which we handle.
